I guess you're maybe being slightly ironic; but actually, I really loved all those character-drawing short one-liners that opened up Morrowind dialogues. "Short trip, long trip: you decide." "Sun and sky, outlander." And the Mournhold line was also one that I really loved. Set the scene for that expansion.

And where would we be without: "We're watching you. Scum."

Ah. Nostalgia!

"look at this place ISNT IT GREAT!!!"

"*burp* ugghhh better lay off the mazte..."

"Woo Hoo Hoo Hoo Hoo!"

( the people in mournhold are insane must be bad swamp gases from black marsh)

"Cheese for everyone!!"

"Just outside of the Imperial Prison is a grating that leads to the sewers. It has recently been tightly locked, but I will provide a key. It should be easy enough to locate Dreth in his small cell. Besides, I think you know the way, hmmm. He he he he he."

"M'aiq knows much tells some M'aiq knows many things others do not"

"Have you seen all the rats around here? Its making me crazy! First this guy decides he's gonna make a million, opens a fancy restaurant: Rats in a Cream Sauce, Rat Flambe, Rat Necrom with Bonemeal Gravy, Deep-Fried Rat, Lemon Rat and Wild Rice, Rat Ragu with Powdered Deer [Censored}! Of course, when the guards found out, they ran his sorry butt out of town, but they left the rats. Rats!"
(i dont care what morrowind fanatics say oblivion was great)

"let me guess someone stole your sweetroll"

"i used to be an adventurer like you then i took an arrow to the knee"

"M'aiq is always in search of calipers, yet finds none. Where could they have gone?"

I meant things people say constantly, like in skyrim they always ask about your sweetrolls or if you get to the cloud district often.

I think Morrowind drew about half of its character from one immortal line. When I think back to my fondest memories of Morrowind, it's always of looking out at the water and coast from one of the balconies of a Vivec canton, as an ordinator turns his expressionless face to me and intones with perfect hatred dripping from his voice

We're watching you.....SCUM

I always thought it was really creepy when the Ordinator would look at me and say:

"Tidings..."

Supposed to be a greeting, but they said it so damn spitefully.

To be honest, Morrowind had the best greetings by far. For oft-repeated lines, they managed to pick a number that didn't become tiring the first half-dozen times. The most memorable, of course, include the Ordinator's "We're watching you... Scum." Along with that were plenty of other lines that helped give the general feeling: the Dunmer resented you. Not all greetings are positive!

The only thing that Oblivion managed to get that was any good at all there was, again, the guards: "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_2Jduxc2P8." I think I'm seeing a recurring theme here with the voices and guards in TES games... :P

I don't recall using teleportation magic...yet there I was. Alone......naked.

It has no master?

Under Sun and Sky outlander. We greet you warmly.

You like to dance close to the fire, don't you?

Seen any Elves? HAHAHAHA

I could kill that guar! These boots are ruined...

By Azura! You're the grand champion!

Look at the muscles on you!

Got to thinking, maybe I'm the dragonborn. I just don't know it yet.

If you're going to the blue palace, you might want to wear something more suitable than those rags.

Is that fur...coming out of your ears?

"Ho, friend! How about a potion today?"

It's only one guy who says it, but it's every time I go through the Caldera Guild of Mages, and he just says it so stilted <_<

And, of course, "No lollygaggin'."

Dremora in Oblivion: Go, and live.

Something about it, makes me want to shake hands and go "You know, you guys aren't so bad, really. Thanks man, you're on the cool list."

We need more cool Dremoras.
