When I receive my cheeseburger from the cashier at McDonalds, I say "thank you" even though I just paid $1.29 for it. It is common courtesy. How much more should I thank Bethesda for making what is, so far, in my humble opinion, the greatest PC game ever made? It doesn't matter if I paid $59.99 or if I got it for free. I have paid that much for inferior games. There are too many people around here so filled with negativity and spite that they forget what an achievement this is. Bethesda has created a world that tells an amazing story with incredible depth and they fashioned around it a game that is a lot of fun to play. I see some of these threads where people say they have gotten 60 hours in and then decided it's a terrible game. Really? You played a horrible game for 60 hours, then spent the time writing posts about how bad it is? Get a life.
Not everyone will like everything: you can't please everyone. Bethesda has obviously pleased a lot of people with this game and for that I thank them. I look forward to some interesting expansions and the continued life of the Elder Scrolls series in the future.
