Changing teams mid-game

Post » Tue Dec 06, 2011 8:02 pm

Ok here's what ahppened. In the middle of TIA and our team has a Ceph gunship deployed. Host leaves the game, and next thing I know - after migration - is that I'm on the other team, and get credited 300 points for killing the gunship.

In another very laggy TIA a host was murdering everyone on our team. Come the end of the game, he's switched sides, and murdered everyone on the other team, but has somehow kept his kills from the first part.

I've noticed this before, but thought I must be imagining it.

Now I'm all for a new DLC, but shouldn't Crytek fix some of the real problems first. Sometimes I can only play with a squad is if a certain member is the leader. Too much needs to be fixed first, so please Crytek fix these very real probs. Although I bought the 1st DLC I will not be buying the 2nd until I see some significant improvements in what we're all complaining about.

Or is it, as I heard someone from EA say to the BBC, a case of PC games outsell console games (by 4:1 I think he said) so PS3 users are the poor cousins of the gaming world

agreed. but i dont think pc will ever outsell a console that has same game. for instance crysis 2 sold more copies on the ps3 than the the pc.

Well there's still something wrong. PC & Xbox owned by MS. I can do the math.

if that's true, then that's messed up!! surely it would make more sense to support the platform that has sold more as a priority so you can make sure to maximize sales in DLC??

i wonder if we'll ever get an answer...

It does happen.

Migration occurs then it restarts, I'm left confused to wondering why I'm against my squad.

Hopefully this can be sorted.

Hi Beastly101 where did you get the info that PS3 sold more then PC? I would like to know that it's true as I believe it's not and there for Crytek don't spend half the time developing for PS3 than it does for PC or XBOX. If that was the case also why do they always gets the new DL available before PS3s?

I dont know about the sales part of your post. However, why do most people tend to assume there is some secret undercover hatred within Crytek against releasing DLC on PS3 same time? There are many factors that are involved with putting DLC on a system. Each platform has their ways to do things. In some cases, it might be easier for some devs to put on PS3 first, others 360. Maybe, Crytek intend to release it with a good patch?

Sony could have uped their security about letting things go up on the store. Given the past. Who knows?

I doubt it has anything to do with sales of a game on a platform. Since, it they put the DLC on all platforms, wouldn't it increase their chances of more sales?..

I hear what you're saying, and mostly you're right... but since PC + XBox> PS3, there is every reason why the team developing it would be smaller
