How to view 3D objects

Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 1:37 am

I've been playing a while now, and I was just told you can view 3D objects in your Inventory, how do you do this on PC?!

When the object is highlighted (on the list on the left) move the mouse pointer to the item then scroll wheel up or down and press TAB to exit.

Highlight the item you want to look at and hit C.

Ya true, but you get a bit of a better close-up of the item if you do.

You have to put your cursor directly over the item, not its name, and scroll the mouse wheel. The item should then take up your whole screen, and you should be able to click and drag to rotate it.

That's is what I did. I place my mouse pointer directly at the item and scroll the wheel and nothing happens.

I think this has been randomly buggy for some people. If you can be bothered, I would suggest you force check your game, or reinstall. Maybe try googling for a solution. Otherwise can't help you out cause it works fine for most people.

Didn't mean to be rude but you are probably playing the pirate version and I guess you know it. Or you haven't patched your legit copy on steam.

If the scroll wheel isnt working have you tried mousing over the item name and pressing C?

So I had Steam check to make sure no files were corrupt, but I still cannot move 3D objects in my inventory, I can zoom in with "C", but nothing else. I've been tweaking the .ini file to try to improve my experience in the game, does anyone know the command for allow the 3D view? I might have disabled it....
