How are people level 25+ 40 hours in?

Post » Tue Dec 06, 2011 1:37 pm

Pickpocketing is a great way to go for that, i personally do not steal from people tough, after i try to pick something, i simply put it back in their pockets. My character only likes to train his fingers is all :whistling:

Some people like to blast through the game quickly, but that's the beauty of this game... You can play it how you want :)

Get a clue,

If anything exploring and taking your time levels faster then blasting through the quests and fast travelling.

A lot of people are in a rush. For what I have no idea. I often wonder if a lot of people on these boards watch movies with their DVD or DVR player in fast forward as well.

Probably would if they could hear (or read) the dialog :whistling:

What is wrong with playing the game on a difficulty level suited to your play style? And why so elite about it? :S We don't have to all play the game on Master just because you say so... And to answer your question, OP, I'm 56 hours in, and level 35, barely into the main questline, been doing the Thieves guild and Dark Brotherhood stuff.

still you can't tell people how to play e.e, that's simply stupid, some people don't find the game as fun as playing your way.

Are you simple or something? Show me anwhere I told people who to play? All I did was say to those who said people levelling fast are rushing that that is not true at all, learn to read.

Are people fast traveling all over the place or what? I refuse to fast travel and I am level 17. I dont wander too much or go off quests.

I would feel like I burned through the game and ruined it if I were past level 30 at this point, 40 hours in.

I'm level 25, I'm 26 hours in, I don't do to many quests, I mainly do misc. objectives and dungeon diving, I'm barely through the main story, I've never paid to train a skill once, and I fast travel every once in a while but not too often.

I'm not sure how you can ONLY be level 17... I'm just playing and enjoying myself and I'm 25, about a level an hour.

I'm at 48 hours and I'm not even level 25 yet :)

My first character hit level 20 before I decided I didn't really identify with a two-handed, heavy armor, zombie raising Redguard anymore.

So I rerolled as my favorite class, the Nightblade and have gotten him up to level 7 now. I love the new magic system as it make Nightblades and Spellswords a lot more viable and fun.

On top of barely getting to level 20 in 48 hours I've barely explored 1/10 of the map. Been stocking around Falkreath and Iverstead, mainly in the mountians =) I already know I'm going to be spending several hundred more hours playing.

K... juts checked and it says I'm lvl 30 with 98 hrs in....

@ green.... you play a warrior type doncha? Pure fighter classes are goin to have an easier time of it due to the fackt that yor lvls are gaind mostly thru combat.... meaning that your 2hand/1hand/shield/heavyarmour/ skills will be on par or greater than the lvl scaled npc's... where as a theif/rouge ( and to some extent a mage... especialy a destruction mage at higher lvls) will be more out classed in combat due to the fact that non-combat skills whill have contributed much more to their numarical lvl.... equaring to a having a harder time when it comes to combat.

But anyways... Ive barely been anywhere outside of Riverwood and Whiterun in my 98 hrs.... only done the first coumle of bit of the main quest... hardly done any quests at all really just playing my theif/assasin stealing, pickpocketing, sneakin around... exploring the immediate areas... and reading ALOT of books. ( I would HIGHLY recommend reading books as they give you a much greater understanding of the world of Elderscrolls from a narritive standpoint... and contain some usefull information as well) No fast travel...

I actually have to make a point of switching to the warrior stone and go out n practice my combat skills....

70 hours in according to Steam, of that maybe 40 or so on my current character (after a case of Restartisis) and I am currently level 21. On Adept difficulty. Mainly Conjuration, with decent Destruction and Alteration on the side. Haven't really crafted at all yet, although I really need to start, in order to get rid of my mats. I do fast travel quite a bit, with the occasional walk from place A to B. Need to practice patience, I'm way too eager to see what the shiny quest reward is.

Some people like to power through things, some like to take it slower. It takes all sorts to make Nirn go a round, and that is what makes TES games great. You can play them the way you want.
