Un-marked underground player housing

Post » Tue Dec 06, 2011 12:11 pm

Hi guys. I picked up FO3 again recently and I want to use this underground bunker as housing.

Problem is, I can't find it. I drew a map when I first got the game but that's been lost for years.

It's un-marked, and the entrance is a manhole cover on top of a rock. There's a bed and stores of food on shelves down there.

It should be in the upper-right quadrant of the map near the mountains perhaps?

If anyone know what I'm talking about...let me know so I can stop throwing up.

Thanks Pistolero, I just checked those out. However, those were not them.
The entrance door looks like the hatch into the submarine from Point Lookout.

No, that's not it either. It's none of the broadcast stations.

I'll try near the Republic of Dave. I think Raven Rock is in the north east quarter of the map so and I don't think I was near there when I found it a few years ago.

Could it be the Antaginizer's pad? It fits the description that you gave. A manhole or grate opening located on top of some rocks in the northeast part of the map. If I remember right, it close to canterbury commons.

I do remember the Antagonizer's Lair but that wasn't it either. It was a completely un-marked and underground. I'm getting back on FO3 today so my search continues.

Little hint for you, if you think your getting close to it bring up your local map, even though its completely un-marked it should still show up on there. Might help a little bit.

I'm up in that part of the map right now. I'll keep a eye out. Maybe someone will get lucky. It is a needle in a hay stack kind of thing. Any chance you know what it was close to? Might narrow down the hunt.

Assuming up is north, then Raven Rock is in the North-West.

The only thing I've found in that area is the shelter with the ghouls and plungers going up the wall to the ceiling.

I remember one of those up near the deathclaw caves. I was scouting the area around it and came upon a clickable drain and it turned out to be a nice little camp spot. All I can tell you is that it was on a bluff above it....I think west or sw of the cave. There was also another one that was at the bottom of a cliff that was just a manhole cover that led to another rack and lantern camp...had some ammo and stims if I recall. That was as I was scouting Northward, heading for the NW corner of the map with the the tree/mutant guy, the Enclave, radio sites, etc. It was on the Eastern side of that big canyon that ran northward. Actually not terribly far from the deathclaw cave and kind of opposite one the big radar towers. There was a raider camp in the vicinity of the manhole camp.
Best I can do, it has been a few years since I have played FO3. GL =)
