Ok so I saved during the final fight at hoover dam, and know i am stuck because i can not warp anywhere and like everyone knows, when the game ends it ends. So my question is....is there a way around this, can i get my guy out of there and keep searching the wasteland for things to do or am i stuck until the DLC comes out?

If you have initiated the final battle then you are S.O.L. my friend, sorry mate.

You should check to see if the game autosaved beforehand. I think it might have. If not, and if you don't have any manual saves beforehand, you're going to have to reroll a new character.

Also, Sawyer and Obsidian have outright said there will be no DLC that allows freeplay after the end, so don't bank on it. They knew about what caused Broken Steel and made the decision to have a final ending anyway, and many people (myself included) feel it was the right decision.

If you're on the PC, there are mods to allow freeplay after the end.
