Not unexpected. I'm left wondering whether the stats are a mistake on Beth's part, after these tests. If I pit two good soldiers against one another, let's say one of Reilly's Rangers and one Talon Merc. One good from training, and one with buckets of combat experience... I'm not sure that if I was knocking up their skills and stats, which I would favour. I think most of us would go for the combat vet, though. That's what the army do when they request units to engage in a new warzone, they send those with experience, not guys fresh from training.

Hrmm. Might knock up some BoS with RP stats... a BG expert who is a journeyman of Downtown DC. A medical expert. A recon trooper with a sniper rifle. Stats and skills to reflect their backgrounds. A complete team. Then pit them against vanilla groups from every faction see how they fair. ^_^

Game mechanics don't prove anything. The BoS would have more knowledge of their environment. The Enclave's technology gives them an advantage, but they don't have better training. I never said they were superior anyway. I said they are more capable than you give them credit for. Combat skills mean nothing to me. They do not make anything or anyone superior. I do support that Lyons' BoS is more kind and helpful than the Enclave though. Canonly, it makes sense for the LW to be part of the BoS based on past games. All I do is see deeper than who wins ingame in direct combat.

wow...I just wanted a PC player to do a few combat tests with the clave and BoS....wow ppl rly like 2 talk bout this sorta stuff...

Not arguing Alexpej, just debating aggressively. I know Seti is a good guy, we just have different views on the 'clave. Seti is a good guy, but his BoS friends aren't :flamethrower:
