Did "IT" effect you purches positively or negatively? : Crysis

I have a question, how did seeing gameplay or playing crysis 2 leak effect your purches if any?

I preordered before and the gameplay didn't make me change of mind ... but I'm getting more and more impatient seeing people playing on this game ...

I still fear unbalanced spawns and that some perks are quite over powered, but that might be subject to change as Crytek hopefully updates the game.
Won't get it for release, but maybe as the price goes down, if multiplayer is balanced and good...

Seeing that hit detection and OP melee(3 hits now, yay!) have been fixed with my own eyes pushed me off the fence and firmly onto the 'buy' side of it.

I'm trying to avoid any footage of the game online so as not to ruin any surprises but I admit I was weak - I have watched the opening couple of minutes of the game. I'm holding out to see if I can get a good deal on the pre-order but will probably place my order next week. Don't want to leave it too late.

Best I've seen so far is ￡26.99 for the limited edition with free delivery. I have a question regarding pre-orders, do companies tend to send them out on the day of release.

"IT" will not affect my decision in any way. It makes no sense at all for me to order before I have seen everything maxed out. I live in the UK where the release date is the 25th so I will be able to see the game maxed out and then still pre-order it no matter what happens with the demo or game play footage. That is just a fact.

Ask any sole trader on E-Bay and he will tell you people just don't like to buy items that are sold unseen.

I am definetly buying the game since all the leaked footage. Even to the extent that now within the next 2 - 3 months I plan on building a Gaming PC for it as well. Though I will most likely pick it up on a console before hand.

And if for any reason it should svck, which I doubt. I will have a Gaming PC for Battlefield 3, Deus Ex Human Revolution, and other upcoming great titles.

"IT" showed me that IT ( as in game, "crysis 2") is way to consolish, which is ********* in my opinion.

October 2010 was my pre order.

So what if there is a un finished game out?

I did play it on a friend's PC, looks fab, buggy but fab.

Regardless, im counting down the days.

Please keep in mind that the leak version textures are NOT the high res ones!!!
It doesnt matter which grfx mode is chosen. The final version will be way way better.

I don't know because I don't know the spirit in which it was leaked.

They're not saying anything up to this point.
