Was just wondering if anyone could tell me where some decent guns are for my char who is a lvl 4 sneak/gun/sniper...I already have the incinerator and the single shotgun..but was hoping to find a sniper rifle or a more powerful rifle for that matter..any additional tips or areas i should check out in a somewhat near vicinity as well would be great thanks!

in the broc flower cave and if u have the wild wastland trait theirs a easter egg there

and the closest thing u will get to a sniper that earley is a cowboy repeter moded with a scope that u buy

Wait 73h in front of Chet's store in Good Springs and shop again until he spawns a Night Scope for your Varmint Rifle.

varmint rifle works great until you find a ratslayer.. though...

its basically same weapon. but.. yeah still works.. nightv scope supressor you can kill almost every thing with that rifle... except.. for deathclaw and some other.. bosses...

head strait to Gun Runner and save up 7000 caps maybe 6.

Ratslayer is in Broc Flower Cave, to the southeast of the game map.

Till then, you can mod a varmint rifle or even a 9mm with a scope. I seem to remember Chet in Goodsprings having a scope.

I got real lucky when i started my hardcoe character b/c the shop owner in Goodsprings had the Varmit rifle nite scope for sale at the start of the game.

I was out back shooting bottles ands killing Geckos and the water sources.

for ratslayer you need to go little further go to nipton see pg dies.. or tortured.. and do the quest about helping pg from leagion when the quest marked go little more east you will see broc flower cave.. in there there is a ratslayer.
