I did the quest for Boone, Get info on who sold his wife. I was to investigate and find out. I did all that. I asked everybody around and then I found this guy with his wife I guess and I alked him about all the info. It gave me the option to have a conversation in front of the dino. Seeing as this was the most obvious person that I could find I put the red hat and the guy lost his head as Boone killed him.

I went to Boone, he asked me what kind of proof did I get. I told him he was acting weird with me and was by far the only person who could have sold her. He got mad at me and said that he might have killed an innocent person and that he did not want to talk to me anymore. Is this over with him?

The Reason I think it is not over, I got mad at him and went behind him and WACKED his head off and then a new mission would not be completed because he is dead. I did finish the first mission with Boone as it said so and I got the EXP.

Question, Is he out of my group now forever? or is this normal?

oh well.

(He is made with everybody and does not talk with nobody anyways....)

oh sorry, Forgot to mention that I did an earlier save and did not kill him. HE is still in the dino but does not want to talk to me at all due to the fact he says he might have killed an innocent man.

He's not the person who sold Boone's wife to slavers. You get that 'go to the dino' option for several NPCs, not just the right one.

Don't you get a second chance with a speech check? If not. Pay more attention to what people say and do next time.....

its the old bag in the hotel, check her floor safe for proof...or get a better speech stat and lie to boone

You picked the wrong person. And even when you do pick the right person, you need actual PROOF that whoever that person was did something. I'm putting who did it, and where you can find proof, in this spoiler, don't open it if you don't want to know

I would think so. My speech is 60 and it did not work.

I wouldn't know, but I'm pretty sure no, as that quest is his companion quest which gives him the upgraded "survival" or "assault" 1st recon armor. If you can't get him to join you, you can't do it.

now it was an old man in the last house next to the fake doctor.
He had 2 skulls in front of his door.
I did the mission for his partner (getting rid of the ghouls) spaceship (i did not get any gifts, only fame)

You mean No-Bark? Damn, he even tells you where to find the proof!

And that doctor keeps moving, so that's not a very good indicator.

No it was not No Bark, for me the doctor stays next to the last house for all the time I was in that city.
and when Boone killed the old man. The Sound of finishing a Quest came up, got the EXP and all. Just the proof that was not brought in and it was the bad guy oops.

Anyways, he hates my guts right now and he will stay there.

Thanks for the help on the second quest of his partner. I might go see him again Boone now that I got rid of the Ghouls. Never know.

Ok I did the same thing to the t and this is what you now have to do

go bak to your other save before you wacked him get your speech up enough o convice him you had the right person ad all is good

In my first run, I was "positive" that the culprit was him, until I talked to the Rancher's wife - that was the first indication I was so wrong. Finally talking to No Bark the light went on for me. lol

I steal constantly in the game. So I knew who dun it before I met Boone.

No-Bark is awesome, he give out really useful hint.

As for how did it, I would say I am only surprised that I don't have to raze an slayer camp to found out.

Yeah I then hated that person, glad they are dead, at first I suspected his friend.
How can you kill no bark he is awesome "It was religious ghouls in rockets, looking for a land to call thier own... Dont you laugh at me, I know a spell to reveal your true form, cave rat taught it to me." That guy was funny and insane much better than any insane person in fallout 3, or the shivering isles.

I am also having trouble with Boone. I found the proof, in the office, (trying not to give a spoiler) and took the person out in front of Boone. When I went back to him there was no option in the conversation to say I had the proof, just that I thought they were the one. Boone is mad at me now. What gives.
