for those who use the default nvidia controll pannel settings this is probably useless, but those who always max everything for quality this could work for you too.

all u have to change is set:

Gamma Correction: OFF (instead of on)
Texture filtering: ALLOW (instead of clamp)
(its posible only the first, or second did the trick, but both dont show any ingame graphical differences)

i also download the latest nvidia beta drivers but i dont think that will make such a huge impact.
my main problem in dungeons is i believe the fog thats everywere takes a huge hit on your fps. for some reason changing these 2 options gives me a whoopin 20 fps boost while i maxed everything in the game now.
not sure if theres any boost in towns yet but ill test that later.

oh and by the way there is absolutely no difference in the graphics by doing this.
heres a before/after shot i made,

after:

a friend of me tested this and also went from 40 to 50 fps in dungeons so i hope this turns out to be helpful for everyone :)

I always use the default Nvidia settings.

My FPS and game performance increased when I changed the Large Address Aware flag in the game's .exe. Loading times increased a bit, but it's worth it. You need more than 3GB of RAM. I've 6GB RAM and 64bit OS.

Remember to backup TESV.exe before trying this.

It prevents that yes, but can also improve performance generally.
