It says i dont have the skill to impove my glass swords past legendaet but i am 100 smithing. Is legendarfy the max or how do i upgrade my skill?

I believe that legendary is the highest you can upgrade something.

Legendary is the max "tier" when upgrading something, however, you can still increase the item's stats by using potions/equipping items that increase your smithing. You'll have to re-improve your item again after using said items.

That's the max. It really would be nice if it told you that instead of making you think that there is a higher level.

This, essentially you can have a legendary weapon, and another same legendary weapon with double its stats (if you use fortify smithing potions/equipment)
