Tips for "Come Fly With Me"

Hey Guys,

Doing the questline for "Come Fly With Me" (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Come_Fly_With_Me)

It sounds like I can do both quests, but only if I don't kill any nightkin. Does this include the one back at Novac? They seem to attack me right away as soon as they see me, so, do I need to use a stealth boy to get to davison and then initiate his quest, get to the supply room, start the ghoul quest, do the ghoul quest and then do davisons, ALL while stealthed?

Thanks for any help people can give me :-) Ideally id like to accomplish both parts if its possible, otherwise I might just kill the ghoul since he has a hunting rifle and I havent come across one yet.

Speaking of guns, are there straight up sniper rifles in new vegas? Always loved my sniper rifle back in FO3, the varmint rifle feels like a bb gun even with the scope, the service rifle feels like hot trash, and im not enjoying the other options much, kinda just making me use 'whatever' gun with a 'meh' feel. Any tips on where I could find a sniper rifle would be great! I havent gone very far despite playing a lot of time in game :-) Currently only been from Goodsprings to Camp Mojave then over to Lipton and Up to Novac. Thanks for your help~!

You can do both if you kill the Ghoul in the room.

Otherwise killing the Jailer will turn the Nightkin's hostile.

yes there is stright up Sniper Rifle.

One is actually for the taking (with no Karma lost) wide out in the open - somewhere near Vegas.

The nightkin seem to be instantly hostile as soon as I got into the basemant, do you think killing the one back at Novac triggered that? I thought it was just a crazy super mutant and not a faction I would be dealing with later hehe :-)

Unique Sniper Weapon: Gobi Campaign Scout Rifle - reminds me of the Marine .308 variant of the M4.

Regular Sniper Rifle: Located in Camp McClerran just outside the strip. Can use mods on this.

.50 Caliber Sniper: Anti Materiel Rifle - Commonly found in the GunRunner's store after you reach a high enough level.

"All American" can be considered a "sniper" but is more of a special forces multi-use type of weapon.

The Nightkin wondering the hallways are hostile. That is normal. Including the Nightkin Jailer later.

There is 1 non-hostile Nightkin that is part of the Quest.

If you kill the Ningkin Jailer (as part of getting the Ghoul out of the room peacefully) that non-hostile Nightkin will now be hostile. Killing him and all the other Nightkin in the basemant also finishes that part of the quest.

As does talking to the Non-hostile NInghtkin, kill Ghoul and then proceed with the quest.
