Daggerfall is a beloved game from my childhood, probably my #2 classic RPG ever behind only Lands of Lore II. I recently had some free time from grad school open up and a friend told me that DF is free now. Fantastic! My problem now is that my game crashes after completing quests. What happens precisely is thus: I complete a quest, e.g., the Mynisera MQ, and after getting the completed message dialogue there will be an inv screen for me to accept/decline whatever gift or gold is offered. Regardless of my accepting or not, the game will crash when I close that inv screen. I'm going crazy.

Does it happen to all quests, only MQ's or only this specific MQ?

Happened for a shopkeeper quest in the Wrothgarian Mountains and the MQ also.

Just tried fixsave, didn't work

Was just going to suggest fixsave as it solves most problems with MQs

I use to have this problem myself. If your using the installation pack, uninstall the the game, and delete all the left over files (including saved games... sorry). Reinstall the game, and this time do not have the installer install the unofficial quest packs.
