How to safely fast travel in Arena?

Just downloaded Arena & Daggerfall yesterday.

I die every time I try to travel to Rihad...

You might have a disease, which kills you before you reach your destination.

Vist a temple, or get a cure disease potion and then try travelling again.

Definitely a disease or curse. Heal yourself in a church.
