So for Halloween I decided I wanted to be my main Fallout character. He has Ulysses Jacket and Gas Mask, so last night I started work on it.

I had an ancient rain coat which I used. I also had red and blue Halloween makeup(I didnt want to spend a lot of money on paint for this), and I used white-out for the stars(The white-out eventually chips away giving them a worn-out look).

All I did was paint the flag onto the jacket. I have a few pics of the "Painting" process:

Once everything was dried, I cut the sleeves off. I will have more pictures of this finished result hopefully by tomorrow.

Today I will be looking for an american flag with the staff. I will carefully remove the flag(hang it in my room or something...), and have the staff as the weapon Old Glory.

Not really criticism, but if I were you, I'd use darker paints to help with that faded look his has. Other than that. I like it. Very nice work :tops:

When it dries you should scratch at the paint a bit to give it that worn look. Then go outside and look like you've been out exploring for the past 200 years.

Maybe take some black spray paint and just make a mist over it, more on the bottom of the stripes and a little bit on the blue part.
