College of winterhold = disappointing (no spoilers)

I agree, EJ107. Take it easy and don't rush and everything is cool.

Labyrinthian indeed was really cool. I just loved that they included Labyrinthian in the game at all, considering the dungeon itself has a long history in the ES lore. All the way back in Arena, the first ES game, Labyrinthian was one of the places where you found a piece of the Staff of Chaos needed to beat the game. Ah, good times...

I loved 99% of the questline and think the whole thing looked great.
The only downside is

Spoiler
You become Arch-Mage when the questline is complete. I feel that ruined the whole thing and would have been much better for you to not become Arch-Mage so soon.

I feel quite the same. I think the end was somewhat rushed and can't stop thinking that the story should actually go on with the former Arch-Mage still alive. After discovering how he managed to trap the Priest it feels kind of empty not beeing able to confront him (or the college) with this knowledge.

You know, I'm mad. There is so many spoilers in this, even in the title.

You spoiled the surprise for me discovering the College svcks.

It was very disappointing, poor story and way too short.

It isn't just the College that's the problem. All of the guilds are entirely lacking, and they must all be entirely made up of supremely insecure depressed people.

"Hi bum off the street, our leader died, and instead of having someone who has been here for YEARS longer than you and that we trust and have a great personal bond with, we choose you because you did four Fedex quests for us!" The Guilds seemed like they were created with 12 year olds in mind.

My favorite thing about this quest was the Archmage robes for my pure destruction mage. I then read other posts stating that Magicka Regeneration doesn't work during battle, I always wondered why it took forever during a fight. Having Magicka Regeneration isn't very good if it's out of battle since you don't really need Magicka... I like to role-play that's why I used robes instead of just getting good armor. I now have read destruction gets underpowered around level 30+ or level 40+ ect.

No, Destruction does not become underpowered around level 30+. It gets a lot more difficult compared to before...and it was always underpowered. Well, ok, that's not completely true. From levels 1-10 it does "ok".

You know, I'm mad. There is so many spoilers in this, even in the title.
