So there's anger over a system working as it's suppose to. I disagree with that attitude.
If you want to use powerful things in a specific skill then you should HAVE that skill.
Let us say armor scaled like this using the current armor numbers in the game 10 armor took off 1% of the damage you took 700 armor took off 2% and 5,000 armor took off 3%. And it wasn't a bug, that is how the designers in their infinite wisdom though it should work. Do you think people who invested in armor skills might complain a tad. even if over the course of their 100 skill ups they could double those %s?
That is pretty much the current magicka system in skyrim. Spells scale in mana cost at an absolutely moronic rate, so bad I wonder how whoever put this in accomplishes breathing without deep concentration. A spell that does 25 damage should not be 5ish times cheaper than one that goes 60 damage, especially when that extra 5 times cost makes the spell virtually unusable.
