I'm playing the patched DF/Dosbox bundle and I've encountered a fast travel bug.
I'm no longer being charged at all under any conditions in any kingdom. I joined a Knights guild in Wayrest, but I haven't done any quests or anything for them. I'm pretty sure I haven't bought a boat. My understanding was that free or cheaper travel came as a result of advancing in the knights guild.

Has anyone one else ever heard of this? I haven't seen it turn up on other bug lists.

Camping out and traveling on foot cost you nothing (except time). Staying at taverns while traveling costs you until joining the Knightly Orders. Ship is faster, but costs you until you have your own, or the Knight Order discount.

The odd thing is that going by ship is faster for inland travel! (Must be navigable rivers)

Would it indicate anywhere if I've already purchased a boat? In the travel menu or the bank?
I didn't think I owned a boat, only level 4, and yet ship travel has been free for me for a while.
