So recently my PS3 froze and I had to reset and even cut off the power from it to get it unfrozen. Now it doesn't read any discs. So now, I'm trying to copy all my save data before resetting my PS3 and I found a problem: I can't copy my Crysis 2 save game to a USB-stick. Now I like to collect Platinum trophies and with Crysis 2, there are multiplayer trophies that I haven't unlocked yet. My question is then: will deleting the (one and only) save game on my PS3 reset my multiplayer progress completely? I'm lvl 35 and I'd like to get to 50 some day but nowadays it's really hard to find matches on PS3 so I really would not like to throw away 10+ hours of playing.

Please comment if you have anything that would be even remotely helpful, I really need to know whether or not my MP progress will reset.

Never mind, I found an external storage device that has enough space to store a backup of my PS3. So this is the only way it MIGHT get stored, if you don't buy PS+ (you could store save games to Sonys servers). Thanks to anyone who even read this :]
