MrBeatdown, I'm with you. I know it's just a futile attempt to get anyone from Crytek to even acknowledge this problem, let alone give any tips on how this achievement/trophy is unlocked. I've been skimming through these forum posts since September because that was the first time the Dedication Achievement/Trophy was supposed to start unlocking and I still HAVE NOT read anything that would help people out who are completely fed up.
I know that Crytek can't respond every time someone puts up a new post, asking about the Dedication Achievement/Trophy. I know they are busy making games, but the whole reason they are busy is because people USED to believe in their work. That isn't the case anymore. People have stopped believing because you ignore the people who made you what you are.
There's a lot of game problems occuring. I can deal with all the game issues, like unloading whole clips on people, only to be shot a few times and die. The intense sound blasting in my speakers. People complaining about expensive map DLC that doesn't get integrated into normal playlists. The lag. The texture, the grain, bla bla bla. Because it happens here and there, I can deal with those things. I shouldn't have to, but I can because it's not every time. Yeah it's a pain, but the topic at hand, the Dedication Cheevo/Trophy, is a constant, ongoing daily problem for so many who value their gamerscore/trophies. I know this is a simple fix IF (and that's a big IF) you wanted to fix it, Crytek. How do I know? Well, when the Cheevos weren't popping correctly after Crysis 1 was ported and still fresh on the market, you were able to jump right in and resolve that little problem right away, but that was because you wanted the people to feel they got their money's worth. Since Achievements/Trophies are a center piece to games today, you knew you had to step it up and fix that. Why don't you feel that same sense of urgency or importance applies to Crysis 2 issues? Not new enough anymore to be worth your time? People spent good money (and time) on your product, the least you could do is post SOMETHING to help put our minds at ease. If a fix is a year away, at least I'm not pulling my hair out everyday wondering when I might see something magically happen. Then I might trust in you again and support your products - just let us know something! I won't lie, Crysis 2 was the last Crytek game I bought because I can't trust your products enough to buy Crysis 1 on my Xbox. That's no threat like many others say, it's just truth. I've had enough problems with Crysis 2 and I don't want more with another one of your games.
Crytek, what you can't understand is that you would win back so many people (plus many more) if you would just support Crysis 2 and FIX the small issues. I don't wanna hear people say, "no money is coming in, so there's no more support". Lame excuse. It's just laziness. You sold people a service. You owe it to them to maintain the game. You don't hear the other big-name games losing people because customer support and game support is crucial in their eyes, and they listen to the community. If you stopped ignoring us and "dedicated" some support to this game (6 months after you forgot about it), you'd be able to release DLC and other high price content that would make Crysis 2 last years. People would actually be happy to buy your products. You can't keep selling the same broke stuff and hope to make it in this gaming industry. If you continue ignoring your community, you won't have a community to ignore. Believe me, too many good games are snagging people away daily. The only reasons I'm even complaining to this extent is because you still have the opportunity & time to turn it all around, and I still have faith in you as a industry giant.
You have the potential to be huge, but you can't be huge if you don't support the people who support you.
