How good are you at lockpicking?

i just made a new char, used the console to give me 1k lockpicks, and used the console to lock some random doors in dungeons too. After my session, I was kinda skilled in it, but I break some lockpicks from time to time, mostly on very hard locks. IMO, hard locks are easier than medium locks, but that just might be some silly superstition on my part.

Before I had the Skeleton Key I was pretty good, but it was still trial and error a lot. I have to say that the lockpicking minigame from Fallout 3 and New Vegas is much better.

I absolutely hate lockpicking and I do auto. I'm glad they changed it for Skyrim to the Fallout 3 style.

I feel I'm pretty good. The trick is to use your ears to listen for a specific sound. Combine that with watching to see when it goes slowly and I can pick most locks in one go.

i am the deadric lord of lock picking...or i was til i got the skeleton key, got really spoiled on it, now i can still do it, just not as fast. I remember unlocking hard locks on my first character and unlocking them...only to be disappointed by the meager treasure i had just stolen
