You can have tons, you have to use the SAVE function, not just autosaves. There are three autosaves that constantly overwrite. Manual saves stay forever. If you did make a manual save, your brother overwrote it, and you should eat him.

The game only uses 3 autosave files. You can have multiple characters but the game keeps all saves in the same place. Your lack of using saves other than auto saves was the problem.

Actually save your game, or F5 a quick save (unreliable). Are you serious?

If your brother overwrote your save, that's seriously a really dikeish thing to do. You should kick his ass.
