I just got my first follower (housecarl) yesterday. She comes with a sword and shield so I can assume she has skills in One-Handed and Blocking, but is there a way to determine a follower's attributes? For example, she can equip a bow, but how do I know if she has any skill with it?

There's also a hireling in a tavern available. How can I tell which character has more health and stamina?

Only on PC (but I don't know the console commands).

Rather disappointing that there isn't an easily accessible way to get such basic details on your mates. If I'm going to have someone guard my back in a wilderness full of monsters, I'd like to at least have an option to ask my companion "you any good with a bow?"
