Making Models

Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 5:12 pm

Just curious what program(s) people use to make their models. Some of the armor mods out lately look like they take the best parts of various armors and just cut and paste them together. Though I'm sure it takes more than that, if there is in fact a program that makes it that easy, what is it, and where do I find it?

I've been plagued with mental images of right proper scavenger / adventuring gear since I started Fallout 3. Everyone I speak of these to lauds me on the idea but I can never make them "flesh" in these instances and this distresses me so.

Are there really just that many phenomenal modelers out there with quality programs who love the Fallout series? Or can a novice like myself download something from the internets, follow a guide, and start gluing stuff together?

Blender (version 2.49b) Works. You need to download Nifscope and the Nif Export scripts.
