I can't play Honest Heart because of the Lost Companions Gli

Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 11:33 am

The time this happen was when I went to Thorn and wander in the sewers of Thorn went farther to get to Freeside. When got out the sewers ED-E was not there. So I thought he would be at Prim wasn't there and next I went to Lucky 41 wasn't there. After that my friend shows me fallout wikia and we find the page with ED-E information. Then I saw this thing about ED-E disappearing to so tried it and it didn't work.Right now I download Honest Heart and ED-E symbol triangle is still on Vault 22. I need your help because Honest Heart requires the play to be alone but I can't because ED-E disappear or glitch. I am recently level 32 without other save games to look up to so I need to start from scratch again. But I don't want to do that know . please answer because I was formal with you guys

I currently have the exact same problem. I lost ED-E back at the Nellis AFB Generator Room. His location still shows up on my World Map as him being there, but I've gone back and searched several times. I've also tried all the suggestions I could come across from the different forums, i.e. waiting 24 hours, waiting 2 weeks, checking the Lucky 38, checking Primm and nothing. Normally I would simply be annoyed that this has yet to be fixed, yet now I can't play Honest Hearts because ED-E still registers as my companion and I can't dismiss him.

Seriously guys at Bethesda and Oblivion, get a proper companion glitch patch so we can avoid these frustrations.

I will be expecting this problem to arise even more since this just released yesterday and there are already three people who have voiced their frustration with this flaw.

Please get on this guys or at least let us know what we can do or what you are doing.

I hope the guys at Bethesda and Oblivion get it right this time, Can you do what you did with "Fallout 3 DLC Point Lookout" by just forcing Companions to leave will be better than a manual dismiss in "Fallout New Vegas".

They better fix this. I don't want to start a whole new guy just because of a glitch. I really want to play honest heart and don't want this to be a waste of $10.00

Check the ceiling in Vault 22. This is a known glitch, telling him to wait then asking him to follow will reset him. Either that or give him a quick knock out. Or just do Dead Money if you haven't already. Sends the companions back. Though, you might lose ED-E in the process if his memory hasn't been wiped yet.

Can give a full description how you did the fix because I went to Level Five of vault 22 and look at the ceiling. Another thing I finish dead money when it first came out day.
