i keep running into to lanterns. but they dont seem to work. im thinking im just missing how to activate them because in a world where you can chop wood and mine i cant imagine somehow they put useless lanterns everywhere. this HAS to be on my end.

Torches are your only mean of light in the dark if you don't use magic.

lol....WOW. pretty shocked about that...fail.

I thought they had brought them back from Morrowind, but nope.

Torches have always been a big part of tomb raiding in the last two games but you don't seem to really need them in Skyrim.

I assume its because they wanted to free up your off hand to support duel wielding.

Torches are also hard to find (buy) and you can not normally sell them to any vendor.
