I wanted to experience pure vanilla Oblivion despite having it on PC initially and put hundreds of hours into vanilla before I installed one single mod. Then I modded it to fit my tastes and spent another thousand hours with it but when my PC broke in 2008 I bought the X360 version and enjoyed vanilla so much that I still was able to put 150 more hours in the console version. Even the vanilla version of Oblivion is that good.

Lately, during the year in anticipation of Skyrim I have concentrated modding Morrowind as my PC has become a bit too weak to heavily mod Oblivion graphically, but when I get my new PC I will go back and install a completely new set of mods for Oblivion, I will try to get my perfect Oblivion both in cosmetics and content.
