Would like to request support for 2048x1152 resolution. I can't be only one with Samsung 2343bwx or other 23" 16:9 at the res.

You can manually force custom resolution which is not supported by the game, refer to my Guide:

I tried that NortdD but it ignores any autoexec.cfg, I can't even try the sound restart because I can't enable console mode.

Make sure that the file extension is .cfg, if you can double click the file and it opens in text editor then you haven't really created a file with a .cfg extension but rather named the file as in "autoexec.cfg". I don't see the game ignoring the file for any other reason unless you haven't followed my tutorial correctly or you have created the file in the wrong directory.

As for the console mode, just use the following keys to open the console in game : CTRL + ALT + ~

Once you get your autoexec configuration file to work you can edit the console line so that you will only have to press the tidle key to open it.
