What happens when you die...in the game! :p

Going to buy this later in the week for ps3 but was wondering when you get killed what penalties do you get?

Is it worth fighting to the death or running away like a girl? :D

I'd get either the PC or Xbox version if I were you.. the ps3 version is kinda broken atm. Anyway death is handled the same way as the other TES games, you just load back to when you last saved. :)

None. You just reload. There's no penalty other than the loss of your pride.

Only problem with PS3 version is a memory leak that makes save files bigger and bigger and bigger (I currently have 12 MB huge save files). This causes some frame-rate issues at non-specific moments pretty much randomly. Quitting the game from PS button and restarting takes away all frame-rate problems for a few hours before they magically appear again.

The save files are going to bigger as you play the game. They even said that because of the Radiant A.I.

Do you mean that the memory leak makes them get bigger faster?

Well from what I have heard, the memory leak is a PS3 specific problem that makes them as large as they currently are.

Of course the things I've heard could be completely wrong and all versions get bigger save files quite fast because of Radiant Story.

 :ermm: :unsure2:

What happens when you die in the game?Nothing much...you just respawn and waste some time..that's all.

But the epic part is when your character's head gets gruesomely slashed off by a swinging sword...

They always get bigger, the savegame has to save every change from the default world setup.

The more you do, the bigger it gets. Pick up a statically placed object? That gets written. Pick a plant? Written until cell resets. Kill an animal? See previous. Put a plate on a table? Ditto. Discover location? Take a guess.

Mine are 8MB on pc after ~40 hours.

playing on master without enchanting and smithing sometimes i die 10-15 times in a row, i aint losing any pride.

I would lose pride if start playing on default difficulty and using overpowered specs like smithing and enchanting

so quiting via ps button stops the lag for a few hours...then just repeat if lag appears again?

don't mind that tbh until a fix comes...if ever!
