Widescreen-friendly versions of vanilla splash screens and m

Has anyone created such a thing? I want to play in my monitor's native resolution (1920 x 1200) but the 2-d graphics look horribly stretched. :(

No problem. It really needs more votes - it's a great little mod.

Just tried it. Indeed it is. It integrates seamlessly and looks like it could have easily been part of the original package.

This also supports widescreen, you might not like it though as it's based on some dated images released by Bethesda.

Also, I'm not sure if this is widescreen but this main menu video is awesome http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=472775&id=8508

I'm also a user and fan of these screens, like the best mods they take the vanilla and make it better in such a way it looks like that's the way it should have been. I also use and recommend the menu replacer by the same author: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7237

Jermex's splash screens are also very beautiful http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.detail&id=7869
But they're not widescreen specific.

I don't really notice any stretching problems on my widescreen display - I think it actually truncates but I'm not really sure. I recommend trying out all the links listed above that people like, and try them in-game to see what you like.

Really, the only thing I do to specially support widescreen is:
In MGE, set FOV to a widescreen-appropriate value, like 90
Edit shaders and change any hard-coded FOV values from 75 to 90
