Even with the perk to increase all vendors gold by 1000, and investing 500 in certain people, I still have to wait 48 hours 8-9 times while doing my inventory dumps. Anyone know of a vendor who has more than 3k gold? I wish there was a way to invest more money so vendors have more money... more than the 500 you can. I'd spend 10k just for the ease of not waiting over and over again.

I don't know the answer but I am curious as well. I have invested nothing in speech so guys max out at 750 gold. It gets real real tedious

The question soon will become, what are you going to do with all that gold? I've got a ton of gold now with nothing to spend it on.

I think I read somewhere that the vendor in Thieves Guild has a high amount of money, but only after you complete that quest line. Checking it, hold on.

No, I can barely sell one stack of stolen gems to her before she is broke.

After you beat the Thieves Guild, Tonilia has 4,000 gold.

What do you mean by beating it? and it seemed to be the last quest, but they don't treat me as a leader, nor she has 4,000 gold, so is there anything I am missing?

Lucan Valerius. If you invest in him. From wiki: "If you invest 500 gold into his shop (the Investor speech perk is required to do this), he will be carrying around 10,000 coins for barter."
