Stuck at work? 11.21.11

Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 2:42 pm

So, who here is stuck at work today? At least it will be a three day week!

Last night I tried going to bed at 12:30. Haha what a joke! Instead I did an amazing Stormcloak quest and stayed up until 3am! Now only 8 more hours and I can repeat....

EDIT: People, I'm also wondering if I could make this thread everyday- just so we could whine about not being able to play. Or, if these threads are annoying, let me know and I'll stop.

Me too, I'm on nights tomorrow night though so I can play as soon as my wife hits the sack, which is always shorlty after 10pm so I'll have a good four hours before I need to get my head down.

You need to treat your body with more respect dude.

Too much Skyrim could be detrimental to your mental and bodily stability. Everything tastes better in Moderation...*

*I am not endorsing the consumption of Skyrim or any Skyrim related products. When I say tastes, I mean it figuratively, it would in fact be more accurate to say "everything is experienced better in moderation"... that is all.

Sure hope there's no Air Traffic Controllers pulling these all-night-game-fests.

:shocking:

I'm stuck at work every day Mon through Friday.

Skyrim is an evening treat for me - usually just 9pm to 12am is the only time I have free to play the game.

But it helps me from getting burned out on the game too fast.

People who play this game in marathon sessions are just ruining it for themselves.

Meh, I bought Skyrim on the release date and have averaged an hour a day. I couldn't sleep so I played Skyrim. I don't think its that bad, dude.

Skyrim's release has not been kind to my love love, either. Seeing less and less of my girlfriend...

This. I have 2 kids, and have to wait till they and my wife hit the sack. Then it's game on! I'm trying to decide if I want to continue Main Quest or continue to push more of the side quests. I have done the Diplomatic Immunity quest and now I'm torn between Riften or wandering? I always seem to get nailed by a Dragon when I take carriages though......anyone else?

I am 23, fresh out of University and into the probationary period of my first office type position. I currently live with my parents (/wrists) until I can get another job that pays more or is closer to my current job. I am only able to play once they hit the hay unfortunately, as they were the type of parents that abhored any "useless" hobbies.

Funny to read how many people are here that are waiting for their "wife to hit the sack". Same for me :D

Usually i can finally play from 12 pm to 3 am, unfortunately i have to get up at 7:30 am.

Worked fine for the first week but now i can really start feel the bad effect of the loss of sleep.
