I have only been playing these games for a year or so. The grandkids got me hooked on Guild Wars, and then told me if I liked that I would probebly like Oblivion IV and they were wrong, I loved it !! So you can imagine my excitement when I heard about Skyrim. I have always purchesed used, GOTY if I can find them, but I had to pre-order this one ! My first new game....... as soon as I got home I put it in my PS3 and thats when I encontered my first glitch in the game, the wagons pulled up to the wall and we just sat there ?? So I turned it off, and turned it back on, and this time it worked. The next issue was freeze ups~ Then the blue marker kept turning itself on~ next my opponents turned invisible ~ now whole towns are doing it ?? So I think I shall put it away until a patch comes out to fix these problems. So I guess I really have 2 questions. The first is, when the patch comes out will I get it here and will I be able to down load it to a card and then use the PS3 USB port to down load it to my player ? And is this type of thing common with new games ? Because if it is I think I will stick to used games, because I am a bit dissipoined with my first new purchase. Foregive me if I sound foolish, but when I was growing up Pong was a big deal, and I am just in awe of what they can do now with these games.

:shakehead: :rofl: :rofl: Okay, so I will take the lack of response to mean, "No~ the constant lagging and freeze-ups are not all that common with newly released games. " Oh well Thanksgiving is comming and so is the patch !! :wave:
