It's certainly a step forward from Oblivion, I'm enjoying it greatly.

the poll has too many options yet not enough....

edit: I mean A,A,C,C,F isn't the best grading scale

It's both amazing and deeply flawed, like most Bethesda games. The improved a bit upon some of their weaknesses - combat especially is better than Oblivion despite still being horribly imbalanced even still, heh.

Main beefs with the game are it's awful level scaling, the poor combat balance, and the lack of anything remotely resembling a PC interface and control scheme.

I dont wanna answer yet. I have this strange subconscious that when I announce that X game is one of the best games I have ever played, I then lose interest in X game.

So untill I have finished playing - no comment :)

Skyrim is by far the best RPG I own, but it's no Morrowind. I wish a game as good as Morrowind would surface in the current or next-gen market.

Can't really vote here because the addendums to your answers make me want to vote for all of them, but that would conflict with each of their first phrases.

It's okay. But there's a lot of small flaws in the design/mechanics and big flaws in quests/stories. The setting is great, mind, and that's the most important thing in my mind, generally, but the quest lines have no buildup and no real sense of choice or accomplishment aside from instant gratification.

Its great but in some ways its also a step back from Oblivion.

Modded:

Oblivion
Morrowind
Skyrim

so far skyrim still need the kit and more mods before i can judge, but yes with both games modded Oblivion is a big step forward from Morrowind.

Without mods:

Skyrim
Morrowind
Oblivion

I see Oblivion without mods as a empty shell and mods simply fills it up and make it one of the best games i have played ever.

Last night I would have said it's really good. We were on the outs since I had to very bad experiences with companions in 2 days.

But, not it's absolutely great. Things happened that just blew me away. Kind of big issues with companions are now much more easily overlooked.

Really good game, would give it 95% though keep in mind to get 100%, EVERYTHING was to be PERFECT, such as not a minor glitch. which there is^^

It's one of my top games for sure, but I would have liked it more had it been developed for the PC first. The kinds of bugs and glitches we have, including the mouse smoothing & input lag, is absolutely inexcusable, not to mention the rather poor optimization. The game itself, I don't have many complaints against, but technically, it looks like Bethesda very lazily ported this over to PC with little to no testing.

This. I would have voted for the second option if it said "It's great! But I would enjoy it a lot better if..."

I love the game, but hate having to wait for the Construction Kit.

So far 50/50 but when they patch it and, of course, when the mods start pouring down, I'll definitely going to find it more entertaining.

It's the best TES so far without a doubt, however the main guilds are a bit..

Spoiler
Short and basically thieves guild, DB and college of winterhold all go like this: join, become the leader before you've even said hello to everyone and quest-line ends.

It's pretty damn good, too bad some people nitpick WAY too much and seem to not like any game, I bet they're saying how Skyward Sword is worse than Twilight Princess. Idiots.
