i have an inexplicable compulsion to assign a 'high score' to just about every game i play. That way when i return to a game after 6-12 months i have more motivation to play it through again - to beat my old high score, and Skyrim is no exception. Here's the simple system i've just started a new game using:
For every 1000 gold found 1 point
For every 5 miscellaneous quests 1 point
For every dungeon cleared 2 points
For every quest completed 5 points
For every questline completed 30 points
For every potion used -1 point
For every 10 food items eaten -1 point
These are all just stats lifted from the in-game statistics menu. Why am i sharing this? I'm not sure. Maybe i'd like to think someone will like my idea and use it themselves.
Anybody care to share their high score? =P
anyhow, back to Skyrim

edit: sidequests get lumped in with regular quests so i changed it - and im starting a new game because the high score of my last game would've been shamefully in the minus due to popping potions like m&m's
