Such a Disappointment -_-

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 3:59 am

So I love how Skyrim gives you a BUNCH of Misc quests and objectives to complete, But what about those objectives that don't even show up in ur Misc quest section? For example i have a Misc objective where this girl (I have no idea where she is/Located at) But ive talked to her before she wants me to KILL Bears and bring her 10 Pelts. So ive killed 10 Bears and I have 10 Pelts thing is I have no idea where this girl is -_- AND its not in my MISC Quests list so there is no direction arrow showing me where to drop these off or where to turn these in. Boy I hope Bethesda see's this and patches this crap. If you agree Please Reply at the Bottom vvvv

The misc quests can be pretty bad, ive stacked up about 30 of them. Have no idea who they are from and they lack any form of direction and explanation apart from the compass. All those people saying "you would of hated morrowind" are pretty much wrong, morrowind gave clear text directions and sometimes high lighted the area on the map.

In the misc. section the quests get renamed after you've completed an objective. I remember doing this one and it changed to "Return to..."

I don't remember finding any quests that don't at least show up in the misc quests section. The 10 bears one was in there, too. If we're thinking of the same quest, the woman works at the mill in... Ingervunde or whatever it's called. That town at the the start of the route to High Hrothgar.

if you're on the xbox, select the quest and click on the X button and it will show you which village the quest giver is in.

this dude must be a wow player hehe

You didn't even read what they wrote. They said it didn't show up in misc quests, so they CAN'T do that.

I never had any problems with getting the bear pelts or finding it in the miscellaneous quest. If you didn't have any problems vote this comment up.

do people realise that when you set misc quests as active you have to do it twice? first you have to set misc as an active quest and then the actual misc quest as the active quest for the arrow to show on your map etc, hope this helps.

After reading this i uninstalled Skyrim and bought game time to world of warcraft because damn, i paid 40 bucks to be able to return bear pelts with a marker that tells me where to go. I can't wait to gather them wolf meats 'n bear pelts in the fields of azeroth.

Ha. Yeah, you won't ber finding me doing miscellaneous bear pelt quests.

But did everyone really need to launch on the OP? Seems like a legitmate question because the misc quest tracker isn't 100% intuitive.

Games made easier, this is why you play them. Do like we did on the old RPGs, ask people, gather information, and actually listen to what they say. Eventually you will find her. If you are lazy, check the TES wiki?

I remember writing down everything manually in a notepad when playing morrowind just to keep track.

Good times :-)

Take a small pad of paper and a pen or pencil (or, if you're under the age of 30, a PDA, smartphone or iPad) and put it next to your computer. Then, when you play the game, take little notes as you go to help you play more smarter. And stuff.
