SKYRIM really is the best TES ever!

I'm a fan of Cyrodiil towns, but Skyrim really has so many great and interesting and fantastic places like Riverwood, Whiterun, Riften, etc etc. And the people and everything, before I thought a mostly snowy region would have okay towns but these are really natural feeling and like have their own personality and history. The usage of water in some of them is profoundly brilliant and masterful as well! :) The people as well have great feeling, and I don't want to say spoilers, but the surprise in the Companions guild is soooooo awesome and it's really cool Bethesda adding that stuff and overall makes SKYRIM even better than all previous RPGs.

The combat and everything feels better too, and the HUD is a massive improvement as well. The 1st person and 3rd person animations are really well done and the sounds of course are incredible. It seems the dungeon designs were made with even more care and clever ways. And the questlines are even more interesting than I thought! There's still tons of things to do and see, but the main quest really is shocking and amazing!!!!!! The load times and screens are also very well done and it seems to go by fast! And there's just countless things great about SKYRIM and deserves GOTY.

They really surpassed themselves with this masterpiece!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Apart from the visual bug that makes my game visually unplayable, I agree. Best TES ever. Perhaps even the best game I've ever played, but a bit hard to say. Fallout 3 a close competetor. Then again I've only played 20 hours of Skyrim so who am I to say that? :D

Solitude is amazing all of the towns are. I just wish they was bigger then they are.

I don't know, I feel like I'm all TESed out. I feel like I've just spent too much time playing these games, that when this new one came out I was never really able to enjoy it. It's depressing :nope: .

^This.. so much. I think it's the fact we're running out of patience for idiotic npcs and pointless "go to cave x" quests which Skyrim has further ramped up than ever before (the lame quests, not npc reactions). I just feel like the game tries too hard to give an almost unlimited ammount of quests and there suffers - it would have been a pure 10 and best ES game ever WITH all the ES staple bs ([censored] npc recognition of pc deeds and general behavior, bugs etc) if they decided to give much more attention to guild quests (as in, extend them, the quality of the actual quests is BETTER than Oblivion, thank god) and just cut out the millions of randomly generated crap-quests. I see a bandit or fort (or dragon, for that matter) every time I peek my head out of any city, I DON'T need yet more random quests piling up in my journal whenever I talk to anyone. If nothing, there needs to be a system to know which quests are random and which might actually have some substance.. and also, to be able to more immersively decline them (without just walking away mid-conversation). So yeah, Skyrim is a beautiful game with some top-notch quest-writing and graphics and combat/skill system that trumps any other ES game but at the same time it stubbornly refuses to improve some ES game annoyances, and, more importantly, it does MORE rather than LESS of what made Oblivion annoying. And the worst part? I think they do it because this is what apparently the majority of people wanted :/
