I cleared my cache this days for managing reasons and with this all my game updates was gone as expected. Then I decided to play New Vegas again and when I run the game there's no pop up mensage for the patch. Someone know why? Thanks in advance for your help.

Maybe you already done it, or it was never removed.

Go to your Settings > Memory > Games > New Vegas > Title Update #
If the title update is there then your fine to play on.
If its not then start a new game and watch Doc Mitchells head spin

I had to clear my cache for Skyrim, now my Fallout NV saves won't load and the update will not trigger for download. Bethesda please look into this because the game is broken this way!

I have noticed this with a few other games also. I was considering getting FO NV but not being able to get the patch for this game or Fallout 3 was a problem for me. Why are they still selling games if you can't get the patches anymore. Its basically in most cases an unplayable investment.

I realize that there probably isn't that many people still purchasing these older games but some like me do. Some games I simply don't have the money to go out and get every new title and then when you can't get the update any longer it really makes the game a bad deal.

5 minutes after reading this post, I went and cleared my cache, placed the game in the disc tray, started it up, and I got the prompt to download the patch. So, I don't think its a matter of them not having the patch available anymore. There has to be something else going on that is being overlooked.

I'd phone xbox about that because I doubt its anything to do with bethesda

Ok I figured out a work around. I looked and I still had Title Update 5 on HDD. Since I cleared cache, I must have lost some update information not stored in the HDD title update 5, and was unable to load my fully patched save files. I deleted title update 5 and launched game, re-downloaded the 16mb update..... Games load now! Weird oversight in the way developers have to work around the Xbox 4mb update limit with title updates that save separately on HDD and not in system cache
