Why is there no map on the main game screen? I don't think I've ever played an RPG without one. It's very annoying to have to keep opening the map screen to see exactly where you are locally.
Could a toggle for this be added in the upcoming patch?

I have to admit, I didn't even notice their wasn't a map on the game screen. Good job on pointing that out. It may be to make the game feel less crowded on the game screen.

It was like that in every TES game (Fallout as well).

Nah, Morrowind had a minimap. Little tiny thing, but it was there lol
