The thing is that there is no real "dark and light" in real life. Nothing is that simple.

That said. I'm not a fan of either trek or wars. I'm just not one for sci-fi series/movies.

Well again have you even read into Star Wars? That's exactly what i mean. The struggle between light and dark and how it isn't always so clear cut. There are many characters that have walked the path in between. There are Jedi that have left the order because of the very reason that Light and Dark isn't so clear cut. The New Jedi Order was founded on completely different terms than the Old Jedi Order. Many of the beliefs and practices were changed and modified. The New Jedi Order allows relationships where the Old did not. I'm not adding specific detail because it would take me forever to do so. I could go on about issues that appear in the books that i can relate to in real life for hours upon hours if need be. If you don't like Star Wars i'm fine with that but you are making judgements that are very misinformed.

Always LOVED that episode. Sadly, when I was younger, I kept hoping to see it again, but only ever saw it twice.

I'm hoping, please dear god, that I don't end up dragging this entire thread off-topic, but that is a poor example. I'm saying this without bias, as someone who's not a fan of either series, but the whole Jedi/Sith thing is comically black and white, with the Sith being all Snidely Whiplash puppy-kicking monsters for no other reason than that they feel like it, and the story needed bad guys.

As far as I can remember, even that whole story with Anakin switching sides, which I assume was supposed to be morally deep, seemed to boil down to:

Anakin: They don't respect my power!
Sociopath: I respect your power, and I can make you stronger!
Anakin: Deal! *Murders some children*

Well the issue i have with your point here is that while you are saying this without bias you are also saying this without knowledge of the situation. The Anakin situation goes more in depth than that. There are a ton of characters in the Star Wars universe that live outside of the Dark/Light force issue. There are many struggles in the books about people's views on dark/light and how it isn't always so clear cut or easy. Dark/Light are just the extremes.

Answer: all of them. As someone before me said, they're game developers, so Star Trek is like a skill pre-requisite.
