Lore question about player race

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 1:37 am

Lorewise do you think the Dovahkiin would need to be a Nord or at least a partial descendant of a Nord? I could see Breton, Redguard or an Imperial illegitimate child whose unknown father was a Nord. Harder to think of an explaination for an elven or beast race Dovahkiin. I like my characters to have a backstory so any ideas would be welcome...

No, it doesn't really have to do with race. The gods can chose anybody to be Dovahkiin.

You really can't see an Argonian being part dragon?

It's just like a mini mall.

Dragonborn can be male or female, and any of the 10 races, Lorewise.

Can a Grummite be Dragonborn?

Say the gods got really bored one day and felt like making a Dragonborn.

Assuming that Grummites are Daedra, no.
