Who is this mysterious Ebonarm? The God of War? Is he aedric, daedric or something else?

He's a minor god/culture-hero of the Illiac Bay, who might have a sword instead of one limb.

A search here or on The Imperial Library will be elucidating.
Why have so many people asked this question?

I don't know, but I have to admit I find him fascinating and would appreciate a greater involvement for him in the in-game lore

Yeah, for sure. He's an interesting idea from the bits we've seen of him.

Indeed.

I'm not sure what he is as from the little we know about him he's against the princes except Sheo and some aedra too.

Well he can create gods if the whole Sai thing is to be believed. If he is that powerful I think it is hard to call him a minor god. Especially when he supposedly has a lot of worshipers, like in Hammerfell's desert fighterts guild...He is very against vampires(they burn in his chapels) and most of the Daedra. I have no idea why he doesn't hate Sheo too though. Maybe he remembers him as Jygallag? And actually liked him?

You could think of his worshipers as something similar to Templars and Crusaders though. He is the God of War though.

Ebonarm and Sai are going to be the 'gods' of my Dunmer in Skyrim. He will also worship his ancestors of course. I am hoping for more elaboration on them.

Maybe he is Jygallag? I mean, they certainly have things in common.

What's that?

I suppose you should see his book if you haven't. His features suggest that he's a Nord, so there might be something concerning him in the new game.

I wasn't endorsing anything.
