What would happen if one destroyed White-Gold tower?

Well it is the heart of the Tamerielic Empire, Cyrodill at least so that wouldn't be good for them. Plus, it's possibly a safeguard from keeping Nirn dissolving into Oblivion, so yeah, it be kinda bad.

White Gold, post-crisis, is dead and dry and nothing more than a phallic relic of four civilizations now past. The dragonsblood that once fed it has run out, and its stone is no more.

According to the events in The Infernal City and The Lord of Souls novels it seems to still have quite a bit of power. Taking it over seems to be the end goal for Vuhon, Hierem and Letine Arese. All the craziness that happens at the end with Aresse seems to point at it still having some major power.

I'd say that even without its stone and not functioning as a proper tower, the White-Gold is still powerful due to its mythic mimicry.

Plus, it's kinda like a broken death star. Sure, its not totally useful, but what if it could be repaired?

"Oh...and I'm afraid this identity-synthesizer will be fully operational when your Jills arrive."

I know, I know, this is completely wrong, but I couldn't resist.

One could argue that through Martin's sacrifice the statue of "Akatosh" could be the corresponding stone to White-Gold. (I don't know how others feel about this though) I feel that the tower actually was deactivated but through his sacrifice he made a new "covenant" if you will, to keep the Daedra from invading, but that's not to say that Mundus has lost stability, like say, oh I don't know... for a big ol' dragon to eat literally everything in Mundus :whistling:

It's been awhile, I don't quite remember how the wheel is important. And how White Gold tower is different.

Okay, correct me if I'm wrong, but White Gold Tower is that big white tower in the middle of the Imperial City? The one that could be seen for miles?

I just assumed it was a big-ass tower.

See Vehk's Teaching about the http://imperial-library.info/content/tower, and Nu-Mantia about the http://imperial-library.info/content/nu-mantia-intercept-letter-8.

It better not be an actual tower, or the wind would have pushed the [censored] over long ago.
