I love the Longbow!!

I really want to find an elven bow. I am level 23 but have not found any think higher then dwarven bows or armour!!

Any ideas as to whats going on??

Also the 2 redgaurds who are looking for a redguard women.... How cna i get one of them scimitars!!??

It's much less common to find higher tier weapons on random guys. Though it is possible. You'd probably have to level up a few more times to make finding them easier.

Elven weapons and armour started appearing for me around the time I did the Thalmor embassy mission in the main questline. Alternatively, you could always just craft the weapons yourself. You'll need the elven smithing perk though.

There's a ship somewhere near Solitude which has one, if I remember correctly.

For the bow, try dungeon diving and merchants. Visit a smith and it's quite likely that one will have an Elven Bow. For reference, I'm level 19 and am using an enchanted EB for ranged.

Scimitars are a bit more rare. I'm about to hit level 40, have spent over 150+ hours in-game and have seen ONE. Well, not counting the ones carried by guys I wasn't going to murder.

I dont want to rock the world and kill for a scimitar but i want one before the damage will become redundant, ya know?
