Does it say anywhere in the lore that Bosmers are short?

I have not found this, and I'm always arguing with people about this. They say that because they make them short in the games, that makes it lore.

I guess there's no talk of elves having pointy ears either, so that's not true either.

Also, you might wanna try trolling with a less obvious name. Nice try, though. ;)

well it makes sense, i mean if you live in the forest and creep around with a bow you might be better off if your smaller...so people don't see you.

The lore doesn't need to confirm what the games display, even though there are cases where lore wins out in the contradiction.

I think it was something about how it's gender reversal or something when they were made that way in Morrowind. Also, them bosmer men like manly women.

Err, yeah. The people who make the games also make the lore, you know.

You're right, Bosmer aren't short. Lorewise, the tree-sap folk are actually the tallest known race. So tall in fact, that they exceed the height of White Gold, Orichalc, Snow-Throat, even Walking Brass, and therefore the very upper limits the Mythic itself. This puts undue thermo-interpretive strain on the Aurbo-optic fibers of the local telehermaneutic grid connecting Bosmeri entities to other sentients, causing them to be perceived as smaller, when really they are several thousand times more massive.

It's a common misconception, really.

Interestingly, there are no reference to pointy-eared elves in Tolkien either.
