For the past few times I've got on the game, Steam seems to not be synchronizing with my local saves properly. Upon starting the game, my auto and quick saves will be replaced by some older ones that Steam did manage to sync with.

Also when starting up the game, well the Launcher that is, it will revert Fallout.ini and FalloutPrefs.ini to some version of them. Fallout.ini is set to read only, and even after changing the file before I am in game the changes I make to my FoV aren't saved or used or something (I am making the same changes I have made to Fallout 3's in order to use a FoV that isn't complete crap).

Been lots of reports about people not getting it to work properly. I guess it would be a good idea to disable the cloud service for Fallout: New Vegas.

I disabled the cloud service, but it's still doing it for some bizarre reason.

It's a weird glitch that they are trying to fix.
