Didn't one topic get closed because this kind of thing started being discussed? I'd be careful...
But yeah, I would not want to live in the Wasteland. I mean, I am not a wimp or anything, and I'm emotionally stable, but I'd be so nervous of everything around me that I'd likely suffer from paranoia. I doubt I'd stand much chance against the Wasteland creatures, either - I have only ever shot a gun once or twice when I was quite young.
However, if you did well in the Wasteland and you have no remorse for anyone (Eulogy), maybe you'd not find it too bad. Realistically, though, I imagine things would be hard: lack of food and water, radiation and all that jazz.
I believe that the Wasteland would be hell (I mean a real life version) for most people because no one is a god like the Lone Wanderer... but there would be a select few who would survive; they would likely be very tough and have weapon experience, or be very intelligent. But for the regular Joes like me who have a few skills? Not much of a chance. I'd probably stay safe and live in a town or city, but I'd still likely die young.
Personally, I think that if anyone wants to living in a post-apocalyptic land, they're insane.
