dead bandits piling up in riften

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 11:39 am

this is just getting ridiculous. everytime i visit riften another bandit shows up besides the blacksmith, shouting and screaming randomly, gets attacked by everyone and dies.

it'd be nice if the corpses would... ya know, dissappear eventually. I'm sure this can't be healthy for the file size of the saves either.

Need to mod the encounter out, I send them flowing downstream because the bodies are plagueing riverwood.

They're then piled up halfway down the river on a rock.

My first night at Riften I witnessed 7 thieves exiting buildings. I looted all of their bodies and made a decent profit :)

At the moment I cound 12 thieves bodies around Riften. It's a little ridiculous. I don't know if it's for a quest, but i'm not complaining.

Yes. As a matter of fact I recently found my dead horse, Frost, still happily bobbing in a stream about a 5 minute swim from where I launched his corpse after he was killed by bandits at the start of my game. For refference, since this horse was killed I leveled 43 times, became head of the college, the companions, the DB and the thieves guild and it still hasn't rotted away. I'm guessing eventually my save file will become buggy or corrupt because there's a ton of dead bodies bobbing away in various streams. Why did they have to add a current to the water, I just can't help myself :/

He is, and I've long since completed the quest and murdered the quest giver so surely my horse can rot away now?
